BIOGRAPHY

Sunrise Harmony was born Stephen Semple in Washington DC in the early 1960s. As a teenager Sunrise moved to Paris (France) where he met international musicians and bought his first guitar. Known as American Steve in Europe in the ’70s and ’80s, he started out as a street musician travelling throughout Europe and eventually back to the United States. He started writing songs in Florida in the early 1980s and many of his songs were inspired during his time demonstrating for peace where he introduced songwriting to others and over the years he has developed a broad original Bluesy Rock repertoire of over 75 songs and counting, especially focused on spirituality and socially conscious issues to bring the world towards peace and respect for the future of our planet.
